Cast Size: 10 characters
- OSVALDO, Latin man (~50s), religiously conservative, Pentecostal. Reelected as a state senator in Florida representing his district in Tampa. Gullible, hot-headed, and quick tempered, but ultimately, he has a good fatherly heart. He thinks Tartufo is truly a man sent from God.
- EMILIANA, Latin woman (~40s) hella smart and hella beautiful. Osvaldo’s second wife after his first wife passed away - a decade younger than him, of course. Voluptuous but dresses conservatively. She loves her step-children Diego and Mariana.
- DAMARIS, Latin woman (mid 40s) Emiliana's sharp-tongued older sister. Tia or Titi to all. Sees all. Knows all. Gossips always, but she's not wrong. Without her, nothing would ever get done. Hella voluptuous and doesn't hide it. Thinks Osvaldo and Tartufo are idiots.
- CARLOS, Latin man (late 40s/early 50s) Emiliana's even-tempered older brother. Tio to all. A Methodist hospital chaplain, which is hella different from everyone else who is super charismatic. The only voice of reason in the room.
- TARTUFO, Latin man(30s - 50s), the man of the hour, a hypocrite, and con man. Pretends to be more Pentecostal and righteous than anyone else. His humility is a ruse.
- DIEGO, Latin man, (late teens/early 20s), Osvaldo's hot-headed son. Ready to throw hands any chance he gets. Tryin' too hard to be gangsta. He thinks he's the main character; he's not.
- MARIANA, Latin woman,(late teens/early 20s), Osvaldo's kind-hearted and hopeless romantic daughter. In love with Victor. Scared to disappoint her parents.
- VICTOR, Latin man, (late teens/early 20s), Mariana's boyfriend, a bit dim-witted, but ever valiant. Diego's best friend and in love with Mariana.
- DOÑA PILAR, Latin woman (~70s), Osvaldo's uber conservative and religious mother, Kind of a bigot. Thinks she's always right. Clutches pearls for a living.
- A BUREAUCRAT/VOICE, male or female, any race, a messenger of the government, just trying to do their job, please and thank you.
